Title: Replacing an LU-2828A-7 trimmer solenoid
Post by: WhiskeyTwoFour on May 13, 2018, 11:20:36 AM
The thread trimmer solenoid on a 2828 failed.  Boring an access port in the bed of the machine made it possible to get at the third fastener to drop the solenoid. Without the access port, the saddle must be dropped. After replacing the solenoid, the machine runs 100%.

This should apply to the 2800 series.
