Title: Cordura Style Code/Number for old rolls
Post by: ViktorHUN on July 29, 2018, 02:00:07 AM
Folks,

I recently purchased two rolls of fabric from an ebay seller. The fabrics are older, but still in perfect condition and I'm f. happy with them. I'm trying to get Cordura brand tags from Cordura itself, but for that I would need to know the "Style Number of Fabric" value. It is something like "M50000 S1 N162" for instance in case of a new 500D coyote Cordura from WESTRIDGE.

I cannot ask the ebay seller for this, he/she will not know it. I have sent a message via the contact form on brookwoodcos.com about a week ago and no reaction yet.

The tags on the rolls are from KENYON Industries, the rolls are like 10 years old I think.

Maybe you know someone in the logistics/sales dept. or have a good idea for somehow figuring out the Style Number.

Thanks,
V

The Tuff Stuff may or may not be Cordura branded.  It appears that both rolls are mil spec.  They will only give you the Cordura tags if it was Cordura Branded fibers used in the weave.

Thanks! I could reach out to Kenyon, now they are "checking with the customer". I'm wondering how this will end.
