Hello, welcome.  ;)

Concept, design, and engineering / 3d printed foot
« on: December 02, 2018, 01:57:45 AM »
Hey guys, I'm experimenting with 3d printing and i thought that it would be a nice idea to make some custom 3d printed foots and attachments.

I designed this one yesterday, it is just a copy of the metal one.

Right now it's not working really well and I'm trying to figure out why it's making my stitches shorter than with the metal one.

I think that this could be a very interesting field where to make researches.

Let me know what do you think.

« on: October 23, 2018, 12:15:21 AM »
Hello guys,
I'm not sewing a lot lately, I'm having a lot of stuff to do so most of the time I just watch what you guys are doing.
I'm experimenting with video editing and I did a little video tutorial about how to do a kite style backpack, in the description there is the link to my website where you can find the schematic.

Sorry for my english, I hope you can enjoy the video anyway.

If you have suggestion please feel free to tell me because I want to improve the quality of my videos and post more stuff related to fabric making and new technologies.

Thank you

Hi guys, I made a little tutorial, I know it's not perfect but I hope it can help someone. If you have any suggestions please tell me because I want to make others tutorial. Thank you.

Everything else / Xpac Slippers

Hello guys, did I ever told you that I love the xpac fabric? This is just a prototype that doesn't work like it should, but I'm working on a new one. 55g should be 1.9 oz, right? Weight matters.

Packs and bags / Backpack project.

Goodmornig, guys. I'm designing a backpack with a friend, this is the first rough prototype. The next one will have  many different things. here the pics.
The bladder pocket has velcro inside for some plastazote for carry a notebook. Same for the pocket under the transparent one, made for a tablet.

the next one will be like the last sketch.

I will update as soon i have the next prototype.

i want really try another technique that i saw in a camelback backpack that i have. there is a 2" or 1.5" Dring attached to the top of the pack with webbing and the shoulder straps is attached to the Dring with a 1" webbing. in this way you don't have to play with the angle of the shoulder straps and it does the regulation alone.

Packs and bags / Krypek rucksack
« on: December 20, 2015, 03:45:39 AM »
Hello guys, this is my last backpack. When i started it I only wanted to do a rucksack with an opening similar to dry bag, without any pouches or other stuff, like you can see i changed idea during the process, i tried some new techniques but without thinking too much about the use so there are some errors or things that i don't like. first of all i think it stays to up on the back and it should be stays at least 10cm lower. here the pics.

advices are always accepted!

Packs and bags / Desert DPM Pack
« on: October 26, 2015, 03:31:28 AM »
Hello Guys, cause back pain i'm working not as much as i would like, anyway here my last pack i ended yesterday. It is based on the same design of the Tiger Pack but with some improvements related to the aesthetic side and i tried some new ways to hide the end of pals. I did some errors (you can see on the little external pouches, it's not very clean but it works) and some days ago when the pack was entirely sewed when i was for reverse the pack i realized i forgot to put the sliders on the zipper... 2 hours wasted unsewing everything...

here the pics, leave you feedbacks please!
