Hi,
I have a Juki 1181N that I do most of my sewing on. It has been mostly trouble free but yesterday it started misbehaving. While reversing the the thread started partially breaking and bunching up before the needle eye.

I checked the needle timing and it was a tiny bit of so I adjusted it, swapped the needle and the throat plate since it started to be a bit worn. After that I haven't been able to get it to run good at all. If a go slow trough only two fabric layers its running ok while reversing, not good but ok. But as soon as I increase the speed or add more layers the thread starts forming large loops on the underside or breaks. It seems to start unwinding through the tension disc as you can see in the picture.



Forward it seems pretty fine, if I look closely it looks like the thread starts to unwind through the tension disc but I'm not really sure. The thread is Gutermann Mara 40 Z-twist but i also tried some other threads.

Anybody have any ideas of what to adjust or change?

Hi! I want to get rid of some buckles and use hooks instead but I'm struggling to find a good source. Needs to have a ladderlock style tension mechanism built in because of space limitation. I have tried g-hooks but their tension mechanism is as we all know, not very good. Plastic or metal doesn't matter, but it needs to be fairly strong. They will be used to attach various different, optional, pockets or to close rolltops. The main reason why I want to use the hooks is that I don't have add extra buckles to the main bag, only a small webbing loop. I have considered using ITW Quasm molle buckles that the user would add when needed but I want to try and avoid those sorts of solutions to keep the user friendliness up.

Would prefer 20mm as that's what I use today and larger is a bit overkill.

I have looked at Woojin who have some hooks that looks very good, but I haven't found a source that sells low quantities.

Extremtextil also have an alternative but only in 1 inch/25mm. No mention of manufacturer.

First post here on the forum. Been browsing for a while but finally signed up. So.. I am looking for black polyester(preferably) or nylon webbing with a non-slip coating on one side. I've been asked to design a couple of small bags that are meant to be attached to roll bars on an friends custom jeep-motorhome hybrid thingy.  I need to attach some bags to the metal bars but having a non-slip fabric on the backside of the bag isn't enough. The bags are strapped to those bars with webbing and I think if I had webbing with coating as well it would be enough to stop the bags from spinning and moving. However I haven't been able to find any except some polypropylene coated stuff on alibaba. That's not going to happen so I figured I'd ask here if anybody knows of a source?

Polyurethane, silicone or something else doesn't really matters, but it needs to be fairly durable and not to thick so the webbing can still be used in buckles. Same with the "pattern", full covered or partial covered shouldn't matter.

I'm looking for around 10 meters, preferable 20 mm (3/4 inch) or 25mm(1 inch)wide and i'd prefer an European source since I'm based in Sweden but I regularly buy fabric and webbing from the states so I'm open to everything.
