Website Feedback

Hi folks,

I created a little website for some of my wears, and was hoping for some review and feedback of my site and try items. I'm still relatively new but I would very much appreciate some experienced eye casting if anyone would mind taking the time out. I'm more active through FB right now as a bit of a showcase with the hope it'll drive people to the site.

Some of us might tell you to loose the Crye style flap on some of the pouch because direct copying are generally look down upon but overall looks good, it looks simple, clean and not too cluttered with details. Adding items to cart for checkout is also a breeze which I like.

Looks good. I like the clean feel of a white website. I'd make all of your products visible on one page.

I'm working on a website now too and have been asking for a lot of feedback locally. I'd Like a little more of your story in the about section. I always go to about pages. Maybe just me. Otherwise I like the clean and simple layout.

- You need a logo. If your logo is as displayed on the header then I'd invest some time into getting a new and more recognizable logo.
- The website is pretty sterile. White doesn't have to be #000000, you can add a bit of color into it without making it bright red or blue. A logo will also help with this.
- I'm not a fan of the 100% width pages, but it's the current internet trend..
- Get all your product on the start page instead of having featured products. IMO you don't have enough products to justify them having their own tab at the moment.

Thanks mate. I do have a logo on my FB and Instagram pages. I just need some time to play about with getting it onto the website. I've no experience in web design so I need to learn as I go.

Oh yes, a logo. I agree with essal. A logo will help help you define your brand. It's worth the time designing something that is simple but meaningful to you and your company. Also, I would retake your product pictures on a clean, uniform background. I find the Sig armorers mat a little busy looking and it detracts from a professional look.

I was looking at your site. And i noticed when i looked at your groin pouch, that you don't fold the webbing ends (front molle) under itself. You should really do that or it will start to fray real fast

Yeah it is rather busy, I do need to try and have a white background to the items, it's just to try and do that and look at some decent guides on how to do the best without a SLR camera etc.

Thanks, I do usually tuck these in as well!  I have some updates I want to do to this pouch so version 3 is coming soon.

You don't NEED perfectly white backgrounds, just something uniform looking. I really like the look of clean concrete behind guns and gear.

What i really like about your website is that all your products have several pictures of them. I hate it when i go to a webstore and see only one photo, taken directly from the front of the product

However, I agree with Gear Dynamics; your backgrounds look a bit too busy, even messy
