yet another rolltop
« on: May 08, 2017, 08:29:43 PM »
made this one up for a family member. The request was made to gave it used as either a backpack/sling pack so I used 1"srb instead of ladder locks on the straps.
Simple design with a large pocket on the front, the straps them selfs are fairly basic, but it was what they were looking for.

Did you try different closing options still?
My girlfriend wants a huntig backpack and that should be as silent as possible. So is was thinking about a roll top.  ???

I used the iwt buckles, they can be "clicky" and loud, but if you control the clicking with your hand it can be silenced.
The cordura does not make much noise when rolling,  but I don't how much more silent it is compared to a zipper top bag.

Sure, the rolltop itself is nearly silent.
For the closing I'll look at a G-Hook with eyelets from webbing.
