I searched hours for that a while ago, as i wanted to use it in bungee slings. Couldn't find it. Hope you have better luck.

The questions here is, is this flat shock cord or thick elastic webbing?  8)

The two images I shared are actically two totally different materials. The first image is a braided flat elastic cord. The second is a solid vulcanized rubber, covered in a nylon sheath. Both would be interesting to test out.

Another example of a flat elastic cord being used here in AWC's Cummerbund...Still no idea who manufactures this in NA.

Happened to have a phone call with Jeff Kirkham, the head of ReadyMan and guy behind the RATS, over the weekend.  Asked him briefly about his source for the vulcanized rubber straps and he said even at his quantities, they are barely willing to do business with him, and he wasn't aware of any vendors that were willing to work with smaller quantities.  Seems like his source, at least, is catering to companies that order hundreds of thousands of yards at a time.
