Help Identify this plastic piece and it's supplier
« on: April 26, 2018, 08:20:52 AM »
Please see the picture below with the plastic piece circled in red. Does anyone know who to buy this from and what the part # is? I'm looking for it in a Tan or Coyote color.

It looks just like National Molding's Slick clip. I contacted National Molding and they said it is not their product. National Molding said the Slick clips only come in black.

Seems to me that whoever at National Molding is telling you they only come in black needs to educate themselves.  Duraflex/UTX Slik Clip.  Not in Black.  I am looking at a handful of them in my hardware bins right now. Picture for reference.

Knockoff? Or did Condor commission a batch to be made for them?  Alex and I actually mentioned this in our email conversation about these after I posted this, but I have no evidence either way.  I have some tan ones that are not labeled as Duraflex, they are noticeably different in quality...not nearly as well made.  No label at all, in fact.

It's possible that they rebranded it but China is really good at making copies now a days so who knows. It's interesting how they only offer non-black options through one vendor and it's Condor of all companies.
