After all years sewing. Which part do you still hate/suck in doing

(1/6) > >>

stimpy:
Like the titel says.

What part do you still hate doing after all these years,
Or still have problems doing ?

Until recently it was edgebinding for me, but i finally found a setup that works pretty well on my machine..
1 thing i still hate though, is assembling zippers (putting sliders on the coil)

TuffPossumGear:
YES!!!! putting zippers on coil. Not fun.

Cutting days aren't my favorite that is for sure.

Macatak:
Binding!

I reckon my positioning of the binding foot/attachment has a lot to do with it.

WBTactical:
Hated doing:
Cutting
Marking sewing points
Making template

Suck at doing:
Getting into the mood to sew in general
Experimenting with different technique or approach in fear of fucking things up.

Build yourself a zipper fork. (Or pay $40 for a bent piece of metal) It's life changing if you're doing a lot of zippers. Heck, even if you only do them occasionally. I used to spend 5min to get one pull on sometimes. And now it's effortless with a fork.
