Silicone fiberglass high temperature fabric.  Excellent for hot pipe insulating sleeves, welding blankets, and more.  The fabric laser cuts mostly clean with slight edge melting and charring.

Will it work for your specific application?  I don't know.

15oz / sq yard

0.020" thick

60" wide

500ºF / 260ºC working temperature

1000ºF / 540ºC peak temperature

I want to make machine gun barrel bags. Ours suck so bad! In my lock up, all of the FN Minimi bags are toast and the Mag58 bag is pretty rough. I think they are mostly messed up from the gas regulator snagging on the inside material. Does this material dull your cutting tools? How does it sew? Very interested in testing it out.
