Hello from Eastern Washington
« on: November 08, 2020, 08:34:51 PM »
Hello,
I'm a professional firefighter and the lead PPE repair technician at my fire department. We perform basic repairs on structural firefighting gear. We have 2 flatbed, walking foot machines, a cylinder arm, and a bar tack machine.  Cheers.

Thatís badass!
I have been involved in tactical sewing forums for about ten years. As far as I can recall, you are the first firefighter - who is sewing fire related equipment - that I can think of. A lot of us have worked with aramids - as the apply to suppressors. However, None of working specifically in the fire community. I very much look forward to seeing and hearing about your experience and perspective. I think it is going to bring a new, and fresh, perspective to this community.
I implore you to share you knowledge and experience. Pictures very welcome.
Thanks,
Globe
