New Machine
« on: March 09, 2015, 09:44:46 AM »
So after 60 years of use by my grandmother and I, my antique singer finally died and I'm using that excuse to take my money and buy a heavy duty machine and wanted some opinions.

I'm not really looking to spend over $800 currently.  Any and all suggestions are welcomed

Thanks

If one is knowledgeable about machine operation, price, application, etc, buying a machine from the local second hand market is a smart move.

If one is not necessarily the most knowledgeable about sewing machines, that's ok-  Read this thread.  Then email salesATnickosew.com and see if they have a refurb machine in your price range.  Then wait for your new machine to arrive on a pallet  :)
