Urrrhh yeah it's not a honeycomb table, it's one of those suction tables.

Thanks for all of your input.
I am very concerned with hurting the integrity of the fabric, I am putting holes in places that have two layers of fabric or in folded seams.
My table is a honeycomb style with a suction fan holding the fabric down to the table and exhausting fumes, it works great for holding fabric in place.
My latest victory is cutting Velcro into 1/2" strips. Prior to the laser I was manually cutting strips with a 60mm rotary cutter and a holding fixture, I hated that part of the job.
There is still lots to learn, but so far so good.
