It's too much labor, I'm trying to keep that part of the assembly as low labor as possible and still look sharp. The operator would just lace them to the slide and be done. No burning, trimming, etc required. I'd use the polymer ITW pulls but they just don't work for the project I'm working on. The small ITW pulls are too slippery. The pulls in the picture above have good grip molded into them, we should be able to buy them for a few cents a piece and they would be good to go. I've looked at hypalon pull tabs and it's the same thing...too much labor/time required to make them in comparison to buying a molded solution like the pulls in the link above.
