AOR is difficult to get because it's a restricted camo print. You have to have a letter from Natick to purchase the material and that material can only be used for your government contract. You have to provide that letter to the fabric supplier and printer (like brookwood, MMI, etc). Buying it on the secondary market like Rockywood.com or direct from a company that has extra material is your only option. I would never buy from another company that has extra AOR unless we were producing for the same contract. If you buy from a company that has extra material, be very careful. What that company is doing selling AOR printed fabric outside of there contract is a BIG no no and everyone involved could get in huge trouble if their gov program and contract manager found out what was going on.
For me, even with a letter, getting AOR in non standard fabrics is a complete nightmare because all the fabric mills and printers want 5k+ yard minimums for things like 70d DWR coated fabrics printed in AOR.
