Wolf Grey Cordura ... What's the deal?
« on: September 02, 2015, 05:04:57 PM »
Hey guys!

Any ideas on a good source for Wolf Grey cordura? Wolf Grey seems super hard to find. Am I missing something here? From what I have researched, Wolf Grey seems to be the name Arc'Teryx uses, so is there a typical "Urban Grey" or anything like that that you guys use? I have noticed a lot of the bigger tactical gear makers use the term Wolf Grey also, but Rockywoods and other sources just have various shades of grey listed. Any ideas on something similar to the Wolf with another name maybe?

Thanks!

Ethyn

Brookwoods also has a similar grey called Tactical Grey. Get a hold of Brookwoods and ask for a sample book, ask for 500d 1,000d and their Military colors books.

What colour thread are you using with the PK fabric and webbing?

PK 500D wolf grey seemed too shiny and we've since switched to Brookwood.

A&E web grey thread --->

WTF, do you have a colour code for Web Grey in the #69 Anefil Nylon? My A&E guy says that it is not something they stock so I'm looking for sources. Thanks!

So far the best match I have found for the PK Supply Wolf Grey Cordura and Webbing is A&E New Grey 90782 (36195). I tried A&E Graphite (67053) as well, but it has a little too much blue in it. PK Supply recommended Eddington Smoke, but as you can see it far too light.

PK Supply doesn't sell cordura; they sell Kodra. It's imported from Korea.

You're right. It's imported 500D Nylon. Quality and colour is better than the other samples we've got.
