chalk bag
« on: September 18, 2015, 11:02:25 AM »
I watched TwoWayTrauma's video on his suede chalk bag and thought I could rip one out - so I did. It's a really simple design and I dig it. I used a pattern size I already had laying around - 7.5in x 15in.

I added a different style loop on the back (2in webbing) and used WTF's shock cord things  to cinch the pouch. Came out awesome. Here's a shitty picture but you should get the idea. They look great in person and have an old school look to them.

Edit, materials - this is 500d ranger green, lightweight black fleece from JoAnne fabrics, 2in ranger green webbing, coyote WTF things, coyote shock cord, black cord lock

Looks good!  I really only use the suede one from the video for bouldering.  I don't take it on the wall with me.

Round two - same idea, just used some 3/4 inch webbing to finish the top, added some hi-vis yellow for style.
