Makers Row
« on: December 14, 2015, 05:43:27 PM »
Anyone have any experience with Makers Row? I am looking to expand and have a contract that supercedes my ability to produce on the scale needed.

I'm currently making everything myself for now (hopefully that will change soon), so I don't have any experience with contract sewers.

I have a friend who runs a business selling sewn products (http://www.breathehealthy.com/#).  When I told him about my business, he mentioned that he knew of some good manufacturers.  I will reach out to him an let you know what he says.

What kind of products are you looking to get made?

Jeff, I was gonna point to that contract sewing thread that mentions Honor Point, but realized you commented in that thread already. Are you not using them anymore?

Still have projects with them, seeing what else is out there. It it is a fairly complex and compact bag.

If you are looking for someone new or someone else, I'd pay the $19 and look up all the factories to see if any of them have done anything like what you're looking for. Personally I think I would just stick with companies that already do military stuff, simply because they probably already have most of the materials and hardware that you need. Others would have source these and it would be an additional cost to you and they might even get the wrong stuff..
