I suppose it makes sense......they produced a version of thier buckle just for fashion use ...so there is a demand i guess.
I wonder if the strength ratings are anywhere near the same?? I would actually use them for non weight bearing projects........but i dont think the one linked looks nearly as good as the actuall cobra buckle

As an fyi, there are some others ripping off the cobra and passing it off as the real thing. Know your suppliers.

It's actually a copy of the Stubai version of a cobra buckle. Stubai is a solid company that has been making this type of equipment for years. You commonly see their buckles on Arborist climbing harnesses in the US and all types of harnesses in Europe.
